About the Show:
This June, we’re headed to the joint Western/Texas Districts Annual Meeting in Keystone, Colorado, about 2 hours from Denver. We’re looking forward to sharing:
- the latest details about the return of the rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) for mid-block crosswalks to interim approval in the US
- our new LED Enhanced Signs, which can be installed in place of or used in combination with our flashing beacons
- how our free, comprehensive Energy Balance Report™ can give you peace of mind our recommended solution will work as intended
- and more!
Bring your project ideas to booth 509 and we’ll walk you through your options.
The 2018 joint Western/Texas Districts Annual Meeting will be held at the Keystone Resort in Keystone, Colorado. Truly a Rocky Mountain town, Keystone offers countless outdoor activities for meeting attendees to enjoy both during the conference and on their own—everything from summer snow tubing and rock climbing to mountaintop yoga and gondola rides. The annual meeting schedule includes a Roundabout Technical Workshop, a tour of the Summit Stage (a free rural transit system for Summit County communities), and a variety of technical sessions on topics including complete streets, safety mitigation, big data, and transportation planning.
Part of the Institute for Transportation Engineers (ITE), an international organization with over 15,000 members in more than 90 countries, the WesternITE District includes 13 western states reaching from the Rocky Mountains to the Pacific coast. Sections include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado/Wyoming, Hawaii, Intermountain, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington. The TexITE District includes six sections throughout Texas: Brazos Valley, Greater Dallas, Capital Area, Greater Houston, Greater Ft. Worth, and South Texas.
Amidst all the fun, don’t forget to come find Carmanah Traffic in the exhibit hall. Talk to us about the options for LED flashing beacon and enhanced sign solutions in your community.
